PlanetSide 2 Beta Key Caption Contest
Sony Online Entertainment and Gamers Heroes have partnered up to bring you guys some beta keys for the massively anticipated MMOFPS, PlanetSide 2. The game has already received massive amounts of praise from players and critics alike, with some calling it the best MMOFPS of this generation, and we’re giving you the opportunity to jump in early.
It’s simple. All you have to do is think of your best caption for the below screenshot, and either write it below in a comment or submit it to the Facebook post. Those of you feeling a little more creative can add text to the picture itself using Roflbot Editor, simply right click the image and copy image URL, then add that to Roflbot. We’ve got 10 codes to giveaway, 8 of which will be chosen from the caption contest winners. The remaining 2 will be given away on our weekly podcast, Suck My Controller, which will be live on Monday. The closing date for the Caption Contest is Monday September 17th 2012 at 20:00 EST. One entry per person, further entries will be ignored.

PlanetSide 2 is arguably one of the most anticipated MMOFPS shooters of the last decade. Published and developed by Sony Online Entertainment, it’s the highly sought after sequel to the original PlanetSide title that wowed fans the world over back in 2003. Almost ten years on, SOE are preparing to launch their biggest MMOFPS title to date, and we were lucky enough to get the chance to preview the title alongside Raquel Marcelo and Associate Game Designer, Margaret Krohn. Similar to the original, PlanetSide 2 takes place on the stunning world of Auraxis where 3 factions fight for control. Choose to align with either the Vanu Sovereignty, New Conglomerate or Terran Republic and launch into wide-scale combat unlike anything you’ve ever seen. We did get the opportunity to test all 3 factions but some of the references to vehicles, weapons and locations may vary, although the fundamentals remain the same.
