5 Games We Expect To See From Sony At E3 2014

E3 2014 is right around the corner and already everyone is speculating what we will see. Sony took home the gold last year with the PS4 price point but can they follow it up this year? This list has five games we expect to see at the Sony conference this year!

The Witness

The Witness

Since E3 2013, The Witness has been pretty quiet despite the amount of hype it gathered at the show. There are still a ton of questions we want answered about the game, and E3 2014 is the place to do it. How long will the game be? What’s the price and will it be free for PS Plus members? Are we trying to escape the island, or just figure out the secrets? Sony is really supporting the indie crowd at the moment so we expect a new trailer and possible some game play or a playable demo at E3 this year.

The Last Guardian

The Last Guardian

Okay at this point we can all assume the game is coming to PS4 and not PS3. It had been years since we’ve heard anything about this game and people are starving for new information. Earlier in the year we got teased that Sony is waiting for the best time to show the game again. Well guess what: there’s no time like the present. With how long the game has been in development, we not only need a new trailer but a release date as well. Come on Sony — give us The Last Guardian for our Christmas present.

Uncharted 4

Uncharted 4

Things have been rough at Naughty Dog lately with them losing talent left and right. Sony needs to show that the game is on track and there are no issues even with the departures at Naughty Dog. The trailer we saw earlier in the year revealed a map of Madagascar as well as the Latin phrase “hodie mecvm eris”, meaning “today you are in paradise with me.” Seems an enemy from Drake’s past will come back to haunt him in the upcoming game. Some actual game play would be nice so we can see how Uncharted looks on PS4.

Little Big Planet Ps4

Little Big Planet

I don’t expect this to be released this year, but I expect to see it this year. TearawaSs3 was great for party or solo play and it could be the same on Ps4. Whether you want to create a map or story or just find the best way to troll your friends into death Little Big Planet is the way to go. Nothing quite says friendship like waiting on the other side of a jump for your friend only to drag them down before they make it!

Deep Down

Deep Down

Another game that went pretty quiet lately is Deep Down. We know the game is free to play and we know that you will have a set character. Now we need to know when it is coming out and how free it actually is. Remember this is Capcom, the guys who pretty much invented on disc, day one DLC. We expect the game to be playable at this years E3 and to be shown at the Sony press conference. Sony needs to show that it is still committed to free to play despite the lack of new free to play titles on PS4.
