- Item Unlock: You can get a Blessed Bow by visiting the village that is on the right side of the spawn.
- Item Unlock: I picked up Roy’s Blade after killing one of the knights attacking from the bridge.
- Item Unlock: When you finish the battle a villiger will give you a Seraph Robe, a log, and a spoon.
- XP Unlock: Look for the shinning squares on the map, these areas have increases in either XP or weapon proficiency increases.
There are a couple of obstacles to get over in this battle. Your whole squad will spawn towards the top part of the map. The first thing you are going to want to do is get a couple of strong, fast troops south. There are three villagers that are outside the village that need protecting.
Another thing that you should keep in mind to do is visit the village that is to the right of where you spawn. For me it gave me a very powerful bow. Visiting will also prevent any of the knights from attacking the village. Both this, and protecting the villagers as described above are your two most pertinent tasks. Just take a full squad of characters to both of these objectives at the start of the battle.
After you secure the village you can meet up in the south to protect the villagers. Create a good box with strong melee characters facing where your enemies are. Back them up while necessarily and escort the villagers to the left side of the map. Only engage away from the villagers if you know for sure that it will be a kill shot. Leaving the villagers open is certain death for them.
This Paralogue can be a real pain in the butt. The real trick to keeping the villagers alive in Prologue 3 is getting Wind Mages and archers out front to kill the flying enemies. It may feel a little wrong at first, but you have to break down the bridge and to the left with those allies first. Take out the flying enemies first and worry about the other ones later and you will have a much easier time.
After getting the villagers to safety you can properly regroup and take out whatever is left of the enemy forces. The boss can be a real pain, especially when he uses an Elixir in between turns. Regroup, protect your healers and really take it to him. Kill the Risen Chief and you will have completed this very difficult side quest.
