How To Get Wyvern Gems In Monster Hunter World

Wyvern Gems and Bird Wyvern Gems comes from Wyverns, of course. General you can get them off the target that the armor requires. For example if you want the Pukei-Pukei armor set, you can hunt it to get a Bird Wyvern Gem. The trick is you have to capture it and not kill it. By capturing them you don’t break all their parts and these can be retrieved off of them as a bonus reward. I’ve gotten two at a time before but I’ve also got none. Since they are a bonus reward there is no guarantee that you will get them even if you capture the target. If we find another way to get Wyvern Gems and Bird Wyvern Gems we will update the guide and let you all know.

UPDATE

We were just able to carve a gem off a monster but it has a much lower chance of dropping then if you capture it.
