How To Give Friend Permissions In Fortnite
Although Fortnite is a multiplayer game The Stormshield missions focus on the stronghold of the party leader, their friends cannot build items. This guide will tell you How To Give Friend Permissions In Fortnite so that they are able to build, gather resources and other further aid in the Stormshield missions.
When you play a multiplayer mission in Stormshield your friend may report an error message whenever they attempt to build or place an object. The warning reads “Cannot place without owners permission”. This is basically a troll protection system as the Stormshield you build and upgrade is persistent across missions. Allowing other players to simply destroy or build items without permissions would just cause huge problems.
If you just want to push through the mission with randoms, for some extra fire, you’re free to do so. Most of the missions don’t require multiplayer players to build or gather resources, so if you’re unsure whether to trust other players or not, best leave it off. However, if you want to give trusted players permission to build and edit on your behalf, you need to do the following.
The party leader who started the mission needs to interact with the Storm Shield computer. From there you will see a series of tabs in the upper left. Shield, Storage and Defenders. Below that, in the middle of the screen are two more tabs. You start on Storm Shield, you need to click the Permissions tab.
From there you can select the people in the match that you want to give Permissions. Job done.
