In order to move your house in Animal Crossing New Horizons, you will first need to get to the point of having three additional residents on your island. When they are all moved in and unpacked, talk with Tom Nook and ask him what to do next? He will say things look good and won’t give you any missions or anything.

Talk with Tom Nook and ask about your house. You will have the opportunity to remodel your house and relocate your house. The service will cost you 30k Bells and take 24 hours to complete. While it is being relocated, you can still access your house in its previous spot. When the house is moved, everything inside moves along with it and stays where you put them. Now you can feel like you lord over the island from the top of the mountain if you want.
