Pillars Of Eternity II: Deadfire Crew Members Guide
Want to find new members of crew to join your ship? This Pillars Of Eternity II: Deadfire Crew Members Guide will tell you where you can find the most talented sailors to sail the high seas alongside information on their best roles, job traits and rank. When you progress through the main story and finish the first island, your boat is repaired and once again you can begin to explore the vast oceans of the game. It is as this point that you are able to discover and hire new crew members for your boat in Pillars Of Eternity II: Deadfire.
Crew members are scattered throughout the world. Some are found during the main story, others are rewards for side quests and some can be hired from the various inns and taverns you encounter on your journey. Every crew member is rated in different categories, making them more skilled at specific roles than others. While, generally speaking, each crew member can be placed in any location, it is much more beneficial to have them placed in specialty areas.
For example; Rum-Dumb Riggere begins with level 2 Deckhand, marked by two icons next to his Deckhand Job Trait. When placed as a Deckhand he attains the title of Seasoned Deckhand. This is his best job trait used in his best role. If I were to switch him to another role, he would return to novice or unskilled. Always ensure, when possible, that crew members occupy slots in which they excel.
The starting ranks assume their best rank when put into one of the positions in which they are most qualified. Crew members positions can be changed so the actual level of their ability is based on their skills and what position you place them.
The list is split into two sections. The Pillars Of Eternity II: Deadfire Crew Members Guide covers crew members you can find out in the world, completing side quests and meeting new people. The Pillars Of Eternity II: Deadfire Recruit Crew Members Guide is for crew members that can be recruited at various taverns and inns as there may be a level of randomness to their creation and involvement.
