Resident Evil has always been home to multiple keys and locked doors. Without collecting all the keys, you can rarely get all the best gear. Check out this Resident Evil 2 key location guide to find them all as you play the game.

Resident Evil 2 Key Location Guide

Gas Station Key
This is the first key you get and you need it to escape the gas station. After you deal with your first zombie, go around the shelves and you will find the key near a desk in the back hanging on the wall.
Spade Key
This is used to open up the Spade doors in the RPD. You will find it on the third floor on the west side of the station. It is on a desk next to a mannequin. It is found here on the map.

Spade Key RE 2

Weapons Locker Key Card
You can get the Weapons Locker Key Card after you use the Spade key for the last time on the second floor. It is found in the Art Room, which is here on the map.

Weapons Locker Keycard Location Resident Evil 2

You can find the Weapon Locker here on the map, on the west side of the Police Station.

Gun Locker Location RE 2

Bent Key
You can find the Bent Key here on the map. You need to examine the Yellow Box you pick up inside the firing range.

Bent Key Re 2

When you are in the parking garage, examine the key and click the buttons to open the trunk on a car. You will get different items depending on who you are playing as.

Diamond Key
The Diamond key is found in the Morgue on the basement level of the RPD. You can find it here on the map.

Diamond Key Resident Evil 2

You will have to pull out a corpse to get the key and when you collect it the zombies will wake up.

Club Key
You can find the Club key in the boiler room here on the map, it is right after you fall off the ladder.

Club Key Resident Evil 2

It is strapped to a white board, grab it before you leave.

Sewers Keys
The Sewer Key can be found here on the map. It is hanging up on the wall near a desk.

Heart Key
I got this while playing Claire on Route B, I think it is a route B exclusive key. You can find it here on the map inside a picture. Examine the picture to get the key out.
