Ape Out Releasing February 7

Gabe Cuzzillo and Devolver Digital announced today that Ape Out will come out for the Nintendo Switch and the PC on February 7.

Ape Out is an “ape-em-up” that has players gathering momentum and using captors as both weapons and shields across procedurally generated paths. To get a better idea as to how the game plays, be sure to check out the trailer below:

According to Devolver Digital CFO Fork Parker:

“Our team is pleased to finally announce a release date for one of our most anticipated titles ever in Ape Out. Frankly, it was a lot harder to motion capture an ape than we had originally thought and recording primates ripping human corpses apart is generally frowned upon in most countries.”
