DIRT 5 Launching October 9

DIRT 5’s high-octane off-road extravaganza, created by Codemasters and Deep Silver, will hit current generation consoles and the PC on October 9, 2020.

To go alongside this news, a new trailer has been released that focuses on the highly successful DIRT Series’ Career Mode. This global racing event is set across a number of different disciplines, and features the world’s greatest off-road racers. Included in this mode is superstar and fan favorite Alex ‘AJ’ Janiček, along with Bruno Durand, a veteran that quickly becomes the game’s antagonist. These characters will be voiced by Troy Baker (AJ) and Nolan North (Bruno).

This mode is divided into five chapters, and offers multiple paths that allow players to choose the events they wish to play. The higher the finish, the more Stamps players will be able to earn. From there, these can be used to unlock the Main Event. One-off Throwdown challenges can also be unlocked, which has players facing the ultimate one-on-one challenge against fierce competitors that hail from the world circuit.

Note that DIRT 5’s Career Mode will support local “couch co-op” for up to four players.
