Final Fantasy XIV Online Patch 4.5 Coming January 8

Final Fantasy XIV Online 4.5 Patch - Gamers Heroes
Square-Enix announced today that Patch 4.5 will make its way to Final Fantasy XIV Online on January 8.

Called “A Requiem For Heroes,” this two-part patch brings with it the climactic finish to the Stormblood storyline. This DLC will also set the stage for the Shadowbringers expansion pack, which is due for release in early summer 2019.

Included are new main scenario quests, a new trial, a new instanced dungeon (called “The Ghimlyt Dark”), a return to The Orbonne Monastery, new custom deliveries, a gold saucer update, and finally, new minions, hairstyles, emotes, and mounts.

The highly anticipated Blue Mage will make its debut a week after the release of Patch 4.5. It will be available to those that have a level 50 Disciple of War or Magic job/class, and to those who have completed the main scenario for A Realm Reborn.
