Guilty Gear 20th Anniversary Edition Announced
Arc System Works and PQube announced today that the original Guilty Gear and GUILTY GEAR XX ΛCORE PLUS R will physically release as the Guilty Gear 20th Anniversary Edition for Nintendo Switch this Spring.
Originally coming out for the PlayStation 1 in 1998, Guilty Gear features special moves, a hardrock soundtrack, innovative mechanics and unique characters. GUILTY GEAR XX ΛCORE PLUS R, which came out for the arcade in 2008, polished everything introduced in the 12 previous installments for a high level of balance. Mechanics like the action-cancelling “Dust” and “Roman Cancel” maneuvers also added to the depth of the title.
