Mortal Shell: Enhanced Edition Coming March 4


After a successful release last year, Cold Symmetry and Playstack will release the action RPG Mortal Shell: Enhanced Edition for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on March 4, 2021.

This update brings with it upgraded textures, a 4K resolution, and 60 frames-per-second gameplay. The title will also tap into the PlayStation 5’s DualSense controller and its suite of immersive technologies.

According to Kiron Ramdewar, Playstack Head of PC and Console:

“Mortal Shell has some of the best fans in the world and I am delighted that we can finally answer one of their most frequent requests. This next-generation upgrade has been crafted in the same spirit as the original – with a painstaking and meticulous attention to detail that our fans expect and deserve. This, along with Mortal Shell’s Steam release this summer, as well as other exciting plans we can’t wait to announce, will ensure 2021 is a vintage year for Mortal Shell fans.”

The title will be a free next-gen upgrade for existing Mortal Shell customers that previously purchased the title on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. New customers can purchase the title for $29.99.
