New GTA Online Update Coming August 11

A variety of new activities are coming to Rockstar Games’ GTA Online on August 11 as part of the Los Santos Summer Special update.

New activities will hit GTA Online next week, including new co-op missions that can be launched from your Super Yacht, new Open Wheel Races, and even a fleet of new vehicles one can acquire.

All those that own the Galaxy Super Yacht can engage in an all-new series of missions, either solo or with up to three shipmates. Activities include deep-sea diving, high-speed hi-jinks on the high seas, and other forms of action.

The upwardly mobile among us will be able to take to the streets in new Business Battles in a number of surprising locations for some serious rewards. The Diamond Casino & Resort will also feature a range of Adversary Modes on its premises.

Auto websites will also be flooded, with more than a dozen new vehicles available for purchase. These include rides for Benny to customize, off-roaders, tunable sports cars and a pair of new Open Wheel beauties. Once players choose the ride of their dreams, players can push them to the limit in new Open Wheel Races, or can even design their own street circuit with the new Open Wheel Race Creator.

Finally, a number of general improvements and fixes will make their way to GTA Online as part of this update, alongside Rockstar Games’ ongoing series of weekly special events and bonuses.
