NieR Replicant Remaster Announced

Announced during the NieR 10th Anniversary concert, Square-Enix’s NieR Replicant ver. 1.22474487139 will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Dubbed a “version upgrade,” this release will feature a younger protagonist compared to the release that Western gamers got on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2010. The title serves as a prequel to 2017’s NieR:Automata, and will transport players to a dark, apocalyptic world that tells of a brother’s captivating quest to cure his sister of a deadly disease.

Development will be handled by ToyLogic, which previously worked on Happy Wars.
