ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove! Coming March 1

ToeJam and Earl - Gamers Heroes
HumaNature Studios announced that ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove! will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on March 1.

Helmed by original co-creator for the series Greg Johnson, this fourth entry has ToeJam and Earl borrowing the Rapmaster Rocket to impress Latisha. However, an accident occured, and it’s up to this duo to navigate the pieces of their ship so they can return to Funkotron.

Each level is procedurally generated, and presents like rocket skates, Icarus wings, and boomboxes (each with their own random effects) can be picked up. More than 50 Earthlings populate this planet as well.

According to Greg Johnson, founder of HumaNature Studios:

“ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove! is what I’ve been wanting to do for the series for over 20 years. We’ve included pretty much all of the original “old skool” characters and presents, and we have a TRUCKLOAD of new surprises, many of them fan-inspired. I think we’ve captured the spirit of the original game, as well as a lot of what people loved about game two. I think this is what our fans have been waiting for. I can’t wait to see what they think!”
