Umihara Kawase BaZooKa! Coming This July

The latest entry in the Umihara Kawase series, Umihara Kawase BaZooKa! will come out for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in July of this year.

A fast-paced action game, the ultimate goal is to clear the screen of enemies through the use of combos with a Bazooka and fishing rod. Different screens feature moving platforms, different obstacles, and (true to the series fashion) enemy sea life. Characters from the Umihara Kawase, the Cotton Shoot ‘Em Up series and the PlayStation RPG classic Doki Doki Poyacchio will all make an appearance.

Both competitive and co-op modes will be included, along with support for both online and offline play.

According to Helmut Schmitz, CEO at ININ Games:

“Umihara Kawase is a well-known and famous brand. There have been many successful renditions going right back to the Nintendo Super Famicom release. Umihara Kawase BaZooKa! not only offers great single-player options, but also multiplayer with 4 players and E-sports opportunities that will open up the game to a wider fanbase. Innovative skills, new challenges, infinite possibilities, superb mechanics, pixel-perfect physics and a cool cast, what more can you ask for? It’s one of those games that will keep you coming back for more.”
