We’re not going to lie – December looks to be a quiet month in terms of new releases. However, there are still a few titles you can add to your Christmas list. On that note, here are 5 games we’re looking forward to in December. Oh, and we won’t make you click through five pages to look at the entire list.

After the release of Steep last year, Ubisoft’s Steep: Road to the Olympics is an expansion in honor of the Pyeongchang 2018 Olympic Winter Games. Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris
The first expansion to Bungie’s shooter Destiny 2, Curse of Osiris, take place on Mercury and follow the Guardian’s efforts to rescue Osiris from the Vex so they may avoid a dark future. We’re looking forward to seeing what new features come with this downloadable content.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (Xbox One)
After making waves on the PC, Bluehole’s PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds makes the jump to the Xbox One. In the game, one hundred players fight in a battle royale deathmatch where players fight to be the last alive. Players can opt to play either from a first-person or third-person perspective, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. We’re looking forward to taking the fight online once more, and winning ourselves a chicken dinner.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will come out for the Xbox One on December 12, 2017.
Okami HD
Amaterasu makes the jump to the current generation with Capcom’s updated port of Okami HD. Players take control of Ōkami Amaterasu, the goddess of the sun, who is in the form of a white wolf. To take down Orochi, she must use the Celestial Brush, which is used in combat, puzzles, and general gameplay. We’re looking forward to exploring this world once more, and reveling in the higher resolution present here.
Okami HD will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on December 12, 2017.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Developed by Monolith Soft and published by Nintendo, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is an action RPG starring Rex and his friend Pyra. These two set out on a journey to find the world for Elysium, the ultimate paradise for humanity.
Players controls one character out of a party of three, and navigate seamlessly between interconnected environments in an open world. We’re looking forward to diving into this world and seeing what the story has to offer.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will come out for the Nintendo Switch on December 1, 2017.
What we at Gamers Heroes are looking forward to the most:
We are looking forward to playing Xenoblade Chronicles 2 the most. It looks to have a healthy amount of content, and if the original is anything to go by, it will be a solid game as well.
