Earlier today we came across a thread on Resetera that linked to some images of the new Destiny 2 DLC, The Fallen Warmind. We have also heard about some DLC for Destiny 2 earlier in the year called The Gods Of Mars. Are these leaks true? Check out the Rumor Report and find out what we think of the leaks.
Destiny 2 The Fallen Warmind DLC Leaked
Here is the image from Resetera that was taken from Gamestop about the upcoming DLC for Destiny 2.
AS you can see here, the title is The Fallen Warmind and you are headed back to Mars. This DLC is set to bring new areas to explore as well as new competitive and cooperative activities for players to enjoy. This most likely just means a new strike on Mars and a couple of new PVP maps. There is no mention of a new Raid which will be disappointing to long time Destiny 2 players.
So is it real? From our perspective Mars does make sense as DLC. Earlier in the year a leak on the Japanese PSN store stated the DLC would be called the Gods Of Mars. Mars was also in the original Destiny. This just means it would be much easier to craft the DLC because they already have a template from the last game. Bungie will save money and time by going back to Mars as opposed to creating a new planet. From our perspective it will most likely take place on Mars but the name might be different. We also assume it’ll be announced at E3 this year and possibly even release during the event.
