Anthem Hidden Place Guide

Anthem Hidden Place Guide
Hidden Places are one of the many locations you can explore during Freeplay in Anthem. This Anthem Hidden Place Guide will explain the basics of Hidden Places, their main function in the game and the various mechanics surrounding this feature.

Once you have unlocked Freeplay you can explore Bastion at your own leisure. There are many different activities, from gathering crafting materials to defeating enemies and participating in World Events. Hidden Places are always available to explore if you are in Freeplay Mode.

Anthem Hidden Place Guide

Hidden Places are marked by an arch icon on your map when exploring the Bastion. They are nearly always interiors, meaning you need to find some sort of entrance or doorway. You are then usually loaded in to an entirely new area. These are not locked instances. Your allies and random other players are able to join you inside Hidden Places.

Once you enter, progress through. Although each is unique, they are all similar in certain ways. Defeating groups of enemies as you progress often spawns a chest or a boss style fight at the very end. There is always an “ending” to Hidden Places so make sure you keep exploring until you find your rewards.

There’s another arch icon near the end of Hidden Places. These are electrical terminals you can interact with that transport you out of the Hidden Place. We are working on a more in-depth guide for each location, have you found any awesome Hidden Places yet? Post a comment below.

Blaine Smith

Blaine "Captain Camper" Smith is one of the original founders of Gamers Heroes. Now operating under the guise of Editor-in-Chief (purely because we felt the position was needed for public relations purposes), he's tasked with a lot of the kind of jobs that would put you to sleep at your desk. When he's not catching some Zs, you'll likely find him arguing points he knows nothing about, playing the latest rogue-like he'll never complete, or breaking something on the website that never needed fixing. You can best reach him on Twitter
