There are many different objectives, items, and challenges scattered around the game world. Artifacts are one of the more unique ones as it’s not all a single item, like the chests and other items. Sometimes artifacts are found simply laying around at a specific location, other times objectives and other quests may need to be completed first. The first area, Rygjafylke, has three artifacts to find. Let’s get to it.

Artifact Location #1
You can find the first one here, in the town. It’s one of the note icons when you get close enough. It’s on the roof at this location. These Flying Papers are parkour challenges. Once you reach the piece of paper it will dart off in a direction. Simply follow it until you get close enough and then grab it. You also get a Tattoo.
Artifact Location #2
The 2nd artifact is in the same town and done in the same way. It’s another Flying Paper. Simply approach it, follow it, and then grab it when you are within range.
Artifact Location #3
The final artifact for this region is tucked away to the East, near Kjotve’s Fortress. This is part of the main story so you may not be able to visit this location until you have cleared the fortress in the story. It’s inside a small house on a set of drawers. This one is a Treasure Hoard Map.
