You can access the gear you need at a relatively early point in the game. You need to be able to reach Kakariko Village. There you will find an armor vendor. She sells a very specific set of armor that you will want to buy, the Sheikah Stealth gear. You will need some Rupees but you should buy the Stealth Tights, Stealth Mask and Stealth Chest Guard. The combined Stealth Up bonus from each makes you nearly invisible to the enemy.
You can further improve the effect with a level 1 elixir or recipe that increases stealth but with this outfit, you can walk straight up to lizards, bugs and anything else. They won’t move a muscle. Happy hunting!
