Choose Tower Of Water Or Darkness In Pokemon Sword & Shield Isle Of Armor
There’s a very important choice in the new Pokemon DLC. This guide on Choose Tower Of Water Or Darkness In Pokemon Sword & Shield Isle Of Armor will help you decide which tower to choose, giving you information on both towers before you have to commit to a decision.
When you progress far enough into the story in Isle of Armor, after you raise Kubfu’s friendship, Mustard will take you on a walk and tell you of special training grounds designed specifically for Kubfu. This is where you have a decision to make. You can only attempt one tower.
Choose Tower Of Water Or Darkness In Pokemon Sword & Shield Isle Of Armor
There is no right or wrong choice here, it totally depends on what type of Pokemon you want Kubfu to become. He is a legendary Pokemon, which means it is unable to breed. You can still acquire the other through trading but that’s the only way to get both. Both Towers are quite simple and neither has items. I went in at level 85 and one hit everything with Close Combat. It’s a good idea to teach your Kubfu Aerial Ace (it learns it naturally) for the final battle.
Choose The Tower Of Waters
If you choose the Tower of Waters and complete the challenge, Kubfu will evolve into Rapid Strike Style Urshifu, this is a Fighting and Water type Pokemon. You will encounter the following battles:
- Psyduck (Level 65)
- Krabby (Level 66)
- Marill (Level 67)
- Poliwhirl (Level 68)
- Kubfu (Level 70)
When you win and it evolves, it learns Surging Strikes. A 25 Power 100 Accuracy Water attack that hits the target three times and guarantees a critical hit
Choose The Tower Of Darkness
If you decide to go with the Tower of Darkness, Kubfu will evolve into the Single Strike Style Urshifu, which is a Fighting and Dark type Pokemon. You will encounter the following battles:
(We will update this shortly)
- Zorua (Level 65)
- Scraggy (level 66)
- Inkay (Level 67)
- Krokorok (Level 68)
- Kubfu (Level 70)
They are both very similar in visual design, although the Gigantamax versions differ in color, with the Tower of Waters version being blue and the Tower of Darkness version being red.
