Quickhacking is something in Cyberpunk that can be a little confusing at the start of the game. Check out this Cyberpunk 2077 Quickhack guide to figure the ins and out of the system to make it easier. This way you don’t mess up and alert the guard you were trying to sneak past.
Cyberpunk 2077 Quickhack Guide
Quickhacking is when you use your L1 button (or whatever button your scanner is) to hack into a person or object. You can breach them, stun them, blind them, and do many other things. The main reason you are here is likely the breach protocol, which looks like this.
First thing you want to look at is the Buffer area of the breach. This shows you how many times you get to select a code piece before you run out. For example, L1, 55, BD, E9, would take up four squares. If you have more then one option, you will have to chose a lot of the time. For instance if you have Ice Pick then a Daemon and it takes five pieces of code, and you only have four boxes, you are SOL and will have to pick one of the two.
In rare cases you can get multiple, but that’d require their codes to be similar so keep an eye out for that. Speaking Daemons, they come from your intelligence tree and can be used during breaches. Mass Vulnerability is a Daemon that will effect humans when you hack into them. Others will effect objects, like Big Sleep making cameras blind for three minutes if you breach into them. They add more options when you breach stuff, but also force you to pick between options since you likely won’t be able to do all of them.
