What Are Doodles For In Monster Hunter World
One of the many tracks you will find are Doodles, but what are they for? This guide will tell you What Are Doodles For In Monster Hunter World so you can embark on the rewarding Grimalkyne quests to unlock special equipment for your Palico, including the legendary Plunderblade.

What Are Doodles For In Monster Hunter World

Doodles are very much like Monster Tracks, and they are scattered across every map in Monster Hunter World. Usually depicted as large images on the side of rocks or cliff faces, these are the remnants of the Grimalkyne – Palico like creatures.

As with tracks, you can continue to discover Doodles to unlock the ability to track something. Each map has something different but all involve completing a specific task for the Grimalkyne in return for a new Palico Gadget.

Check the map in any area and look in the lower left. You will find your Doodle track down there. If it’s full, you can use it to track it to the Grimalkyne quest. If it’s not full, continue to search for more Doodles.

Blaine "Captain Camper" Smith is one of the original founders of Gamers Heroes. Now operating under the guise of Editor-in-Chief (purely because we felt the position was needed for public relations purposes), he's tasked with a lot of the kind of jobs that would put you to sleep at your desk. When he's not catching some Zs, you'll likely find him arguing points he knows nothing about, playing the latest rogue-like he'll never complete, or breaking something on the website that never needed fixing.
