  1. Had a couple of lower level players try to see if it was just location based but it appears there’s more involved. You can also see the date on some of the screenshots, that may play a factor but unlikely.

I’ve seen guides on similar topics but they involved a lot of work. Visiting several locations, clearing out others, interacting with specific NPC’s. I’ve cross referenced those and I did not complete any of the steps they mention. So there’s more to it but it’s still a more simpler method.

If you visit the location and the Alien spawns, please provide us some information that you feel may be relevant 😀

  2. it seems like you have to trigger the crash landing (seems to be random, i haven’t done vault 81 quest) it happened for me when i left goodneighbor n headed west. Landed in the same place as the screenies so i’d believe you have to wait for the crash landing then head to the place in the screenshots.

  3. I was just randomly walking in the wilderness around the same level (20) and the UFO randomly shot overhead. I saw it in the vicinity of Lynn Woods while just randomly scouting locations for materials. I noticed a random settler chasing after it but she gave up chase after 100 metres or so and walked off. I tried to chase it down obviously but it landed so far off my position that it was impossible to track down. The landing zone would be around the location listed by this guide. I will have to check it out and see if it is there. Now that i am level 61 it is well overdue..
