The basic elements of fast travel remain much of the same from past Assassin’s Creed games. There are towers scattered throughout the world, marked by an eagle icon on the map. You must climb a tower to the very top and then find the interaction point so you can synchronize with the world. Once synchronized you will be show a brief cut-scene showing the area around you. After that you are able to fast travel back to the tower at any point. Unlock as many towers as possible to give you the most fast travel options available.

  1. Unfortunately, you actually omitted *how* to fast travel in your article. You describe how to synchronize, but not how to travel once they’re synchronized. Unless you count the statement that it’s similar to previous Assassin’s Creed games.

      1. The problem I really had, I realized, was it was bugged. I spent a couple hours in chat with tech support trying to figure it out before they threw up their hands and elevated it. Today, with the modified map showing the expansion areas, the update apparently fixed the issue. Long story short (too late), my screen didn’t show what yours did, so it’s easy to see in hindsight why I couldn’t figure it out. Thanks though. 😉
