Before you are able to track down the vaults you must first have reached Chapter 14 in the main story and then started 23. Corneo’s Secret Stash quest. After completing the first objective in this quest you will have the key and be able to unlock dons secret stash locations. Below is how you get to each location for each stash.

Very hard to miss this one, easy to find. Sector 5 Slums, North East, to Steel Mountain. Tons of Moogle Medals and cash, a Ruby Tiara and the awesome Prayer Materia.

Before you attempt to grab this, make sure you have gone through the story at Dons Mansion and helped the NPC clear the sewers again. This opens up the quick access to Don’s Stash. There is also a switch at this location, you must press that to clear the water from Don’s Stash location.

For this one, you need to get into the Sewers. The fastest route is to head to the Urban Advancement District near Wall Market and head into the Sewers there. Once you get into the Sewers take the nearby ladder to Old Aquaduct 1. Then follow the pathways to the South to Old Trunk Line take the final ladder at the very end. The gate is just opposite.Plenty of Moogle Medals inside, Enfeeblement Ring, and an Emerald Tiara.

If the gate is closed on the Urban Advancement District entrance, return to Don Coreno’s mansion and proceed with the story.
