Where To Find Dragon Balls In Dragon Ball Xenoverse

Finding Dragon Balls In Dragon Ball Xenoverse

The only method I’ve found to getting the Dragon Balls is by fighting random Time Patrollers throughout Parallel Quests. They appear in a few areas but this is the easiest way to farm it quickly. You will need to have the 3 star rank unlocked in order to do this mission.

Go to the 3 star Parallel Quests menus and pick the Fierce Battle! Ginyu Force! Now you need to know in order to keep the Dragon Ball you do need to beat the mission so don’t leave if you get one! Pick your team and start the mission. Right at the start of the mission use your scouter to look for a randomly named Time Patrol guy in the first area, if you do not see one click retry and look again. Once you see the figure go talk to it and fight it. Once you win it will say you got a Material Item or a Key Item. The Key Item is the Dragon Ball, you normally get two items form these fights. If you don’t get a Key Item retry again and fight the Patrol guy again. Make sure you don’t beat the mission within 5 minutes or else you may have to fight Frieza which will keep you in longer. I can normally farm 4-5 Dragon Balls from here alone before they stop giving them.

Now after you stop getting them you need to do one of two things. First thing is doing a few missions to reset the area. I’m not sure if this is needed or not but I went off and did 3 missions because I fought a guy about 15 times and he didn’t drop any more Dragon Balls. Another thing I had to do was switch to my character. I was using SSj4 Gogeta(Yeah I know I’m being a baby) and I think the game realized I was wasting them WAY to quick. Once I switched to my guy I fought the Time Patrol dude and the Dragon Ball dropped on the first try!

You can also find Time Patrol dudes in other areas like Kami’s Lookout and the Pod landing place the Raditz comes from, but these aren’t as consistent as Capsule Corp. There are also missions that you will have to fight Time Patrol guys on. The Explosion Of Namek and Burst Open and Mix! are two examples that have Time Patrol people to fight, you need to do the bonus objectives to get them.

Once you have the Dragon Balls go to the Plaza Of Time and put them shrine in the center of the area.

  1. I want to be drop dead gorgeous- lets you reset your characters appearance. Honestly the money one is best. It give either 500,000 or 5mill zeni if i remember what I read from another post.

  2. Multiple Cell Jr. Hunt PQ – Special conditions; – Clear in under 5 minutes – Defeat Cell (Perfect)

Best method is splitting up and one person going to each area at the beginning. Then all three members meeting up in the center for the final three.

  3. Good article, I was wondering how to get them I have two so far but they were from the destruction of namik. So the only way or possible way to get dragonballs is to beat patrollers?

    1. Another way to do it, a little easier but just as tough to have it spawn, would be doing PQ 05 “Prepare for the Saiyan Atack” or something. Beat up Yamcha and the rest and a Time Patroller should spawn in front of the building. Johnny kind of mentioned it but not in detail. Just here helping

  4. Could anyone tell me why the “random time patroller” would t be showing up for me? I’ve restarted twenty plus times no “RTP”. I only see Tien and he just offers his Ki. Are there any prerequisites or anything of the like?

    1. Somebody on that site said that the clothes gives you +4 health, -4 basic, -4 strike supers, +4 ki supers.

    1. It doesn’t matter where. Any mission you can get a Dragon Ball in will give it to you. But the drop rate seems to go down dramatically for the final ball.

  5. I just got SHOCKING DEATH BALL from my wish. just letting yall know, and im still looking for BEERUS i finish Goku days ago he dont want to come out”
