How To Get Forgotten Fossils In Monster Hunter World
The Forgotten Fossils are unique to The Rotten Vale. They are like the Cactus in Wildspire or the Mushrooms in the Ancient Forest. There are two areas you can find them near the starting camp.
One is in area 2 on the map, pushed up against the upper wall. The second is near 5 on the map but you have to crawl under a hole near the bone pit. It is pretty easy to see and normally there is a pig near it that will crawl under the hole as well. At the end of the path is a second Ancient Fossil that can have the Forgotten Fossils on it. If you are really unlucky and don’t get the four you need between these two, they respawn pretty quickly. So just head between the two until you have all four and you can complete the quest.
