Where To Find The Monastery & Necronomicon In Kingdom Come Deliverance
During the side quest Restless Spirit you are tasked with breaking into a Monastery to steal a book. This guide will tell you Where To Find The Monastery & Necronomicon In Kingdom Come Deliverance so you can locate the banned piece of literature and banish the ghost haunting the woman.
During the Restless Spirit quest you will be tasked with speaking with the Apothecary regarding the haunting. He will inform you of a special book that contains a ritual that may help, the Necronomicon. He also tells you that it is hidden away inside the Monastery, although he fails to provide any directions to such a place.
After searching Rattay high and low I learned that the Monastery is actually located in a totally different part of the region.
Where Is The Monastery
You need to travel to the far West of the region. From Rattay travel to Ledetchko and then continue West to the first big town you come across, Sasau. The Monastery is located at the very Northern edge of the town. Once you reach the Monastery you move on to the next part of the Restless Spirits quest, stealing the Necronomicon.
Where Is The Necronomicon
As you enter the compound there are some stairs just ahead of you on the left hand side. Go up the stairs and take the open door at the end. This leads into a small room with a couple of chests and some bedrolls. From there take the East open door into the Monastery. This is private property from here on out so it’s best to wait until it’s late. Head through the room with the bedrolls into the next room, a larger bedroom. There’s a hidden Treasure Map II behind the far side of the bed.
Enter the next room and you will see a table, four large chairs, some drawers and a Hard chest in the corner. Lockpick the Hard chest. Inside you will find the Key to Forbidden Books. Head through the next two rooms until you reach the Library. There’s a large Wooden Wardrobe in the corner of the library. Open it with the key to find the Necronomicon.
