How To Find The Next Colossus In Shadow Of The Colossus
Need to know where to go? This guide will explain the basics on How To Find The Next Colossus In Shadow Of The Colossus so you can progress through the game, slaughter the next Colossus and move on to the next big thing.

Very early on the game introduces you to the light mechanic that helps you locate monsters but this is in a very brief on-screen prompt and can easily be missed. Whether you are on foot or mounted, you can use this ability to help you find out where to go, or to locate the location of the next Colossus.

You need to hold R1 to lift your sword to the skies. This only works in areas where natural light can penetrate. When you first lift your sword you will likely notice several wide beams of light. You can then use either the left or right stick to look around. You want to find the direction where all the different rays of light collide into a single, more condensed ray of light. This tells you the location of the next Colossus, as the bird flies. You may need to travel around structures or climb obstacles to get there, but this will always shine in the direction you need to go.
