Novacrystals are an upgraded version of Light crystals that you find earlier in the game. You can find them in High Rank areas and low rank areas in the Red Ore clusters. Just like the Light Crystals you need to get lucky while mining. If you get one it will have a different animation and your character will get excited. While they are rare I have found a handful while just hunting so they aren’t impossible to find. They may come to the melding pot later but at the moment Id on’t have them.
