Fire Emblem Engage Character Recruitment Guide

There are a lot of characters to recruit in Fire Emblem Engage, but some can be missed. In this Fire Emblem Engage Character Recruitment Guide we list all of the characters you can recruit that are optional, or can be missed if you don’t use the correct character during specific missions.

All of these characters work in the same way. You will encounter them in either a main story mission or an optional Paralogue mission. They will always be “Allies” in the fight, so they will have their own phase where they act and use actions. You need to use a specific character to recruit them. Using the character listed approach the character with the speech bubble marker over their head and then use the Talk action. This will add them to your team for the mission and they will remain permanently from that point on.

Blaine Smith

Blaine "Captain Camper" Smith is one of the original founders of Gamers Heroes. Now operating under the guise of Editor-in-Chief (purely because we felt the position was needed for public relations purposes), he's tasked with a lot of the kind of jobs that would put you to sleep at your desk. When he's not catching some Zs, you'll likely find him arguing points he knows nothing about, playing the latest rogue-like he'll never complete, or breaking something on the website that never needed fixing.
