Party Memory is the bane of all existence at the beginning of your journey. Even the greatest Digimon Trainers that create the most powerful Digimon are powerless against the Party Memory limit. Every Digimon, depending on their power and growth, cost a specific amount of Party Memory points. These points accumulate until it reaches a certain maximum amount, which begins at 20. If you have over 20, you have to reduce the points to progress. Although Party Memory is fixed at the start of the game, there are ways you can get more of it.
Typically, Party Memory is increased through Memory Up items. Some of these are rare and hidden away but there’s also quite a few given as you progress naturally through the story elements of the game. Others can be rewards from the various cases the game has to offer.
