To get a Rathian Ruby in Monster Hunter World you must hunt a high ranked Rathian. It is a quest reward for kill or capturing one from a quest. If you have an investigation that involves the Rathian and silver or gold rewards you can luck out and get it in those reward slots as well. This is a rare drop that could keep you hunting the Rathian for hours on end with no results whatsoever. To help out with the reward process you should bring two pieces of the Legiana set for the Good Luck Perk. This will give you a chance for more rewards after you complete a hunt, the more rewards, the higher the chance you get what you are looking for. If you really want it, you will just have to keep that grind going.
