Treasure Maps are a rewarding side activity in God of War. This God Of War Treasure Map Guide will tell you where you can find each of the treasure maps in the game as well as where you have to go to claim the rewards. Treasure Maps are one of the best ways of getting rare materials, enchantments and Artifacts, so they are well worth the time to explore and complete.
Continue to progress through the story until you reach the World Serpent. After the cut-scene the water in the area will drop and you can now explore more of the world. One such location is where you will find the first Treasure Map in God of War. They are scattered throughout the game with various rewards offered for each.
You can find this treasure map on the dock of the Lookout Tower in the Shores of Nine. You need to head to Veithurgard to the East of the Shores of Nine. You will encounter a large dragon in the area, this is a Favor quest. Follow the favor through to the end and you’ll have to solve a puzzle with a large door and missing runes. The treasure can be found to the left of the door in a dirt mound pile.
You can find the treasure map for this on Stone Falls. Just after you dock, you’ll see it on the floor ahead of you. Head to the Island of Death and search the small mound there to find the treasure.
You can find this treasure map inside the Dwarven Mines. Continue through until you see a door with the C R and N type runes above it. Drop down to your right and you’ll find the treasure map sitting on the floor.
Head to the Cliffs of the Raven and search the mound next to the dead giant. Video coming soon.
You can find this treasure map in Fafnir’s Storeroom during the Fafnir’s Hoard Favor. Progress through the area until you need to place the Entry Stone into the pedestal.
You need to have the ability to clear the Death Breath from the Mountain before you can get the treasure. When you clear the Death Breath, go up to the mouth of the Mountain and you can find the treasure spot right underneath the mouth.
You must progress until you lower the river level a second time with the help of the World Serpent. You will find the treasure map near the Mystic Gateway on The Mason’s Channel island.
You can find this treasure map in the Landsuther Mines during the Favor Deus Ex Malachite. After you lower the large stone to break through the floor climb down to the bottom. There is a lift down there. Use the small lift to get up to the chest, you will find the map on the floor next to the chest. Will update once we find the treasure
To find the map you need to head to the Iron Cove on the Lake of Nine. The map is right on the beach as you land. After you get the map, head over to Buri’s Storeroom also on the Lake of Nine and you can find the treasure on the east side of the island.
You can find this treasure map on the Ruins of the Ancient island. After you dock, hop over the rock and you will find it on the floor. Will update once we find the treasure
This treasure map can be found in the Northri Stronghold. You must be on, or have completed, the Family Business Favor. At the end of the Favor you find the Whetstone on a ship. You need to break into the hull on the bottom of the ship. The map is inside. Will update once we find the treasure
This treasure map is located in the Forgotten Caverns. Dock your boat and head inside the cave. The map is next to the first treasure chest. Will update once we find the treasure
You can find this treasure map in the Witch’s Basement. It’s on the lower level, in the same room as the Hidden Chamber door. Will update once we find the treasure
When you return to the mountain in story missions during the Journey Mission, Return to the Summit, you can find the treasure map shortly after the long ride up the lift. On the trail with all the explosive crystals, you’ll find it on some disused tracks shortly after.
