Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy game is a linear style game, meaning you’re always on a point A to point B basis. There are paths off the trodden track that you can explore but for the most parts, the missions are very simple to follow. As such, we’ve listed the outfits in the order they have been discovered so you can follow the guide as you progress through the game.
Guardians Of The Galaxy Outfit Locations – Chapter One
In the first mission. After you meet the creature you’ve been hunting and accidentally set it free (there’s a cutscene), you will enter a dark area. Groot and Rocket will turn to the left along the walkway. Look to the right and crawl through the gap to find this Outfit.
Guardians Of The Galaxy Outfit Locations – Chapter Two
In Chapter Two when you are handcuffed and following the girl. At one point Star Lord will tell her that she’s doing a great job, the best arresting officer he’s had. At this point, there’s a small passage nearby that you can sneak through. Head through there to get this outfit.
Guardians Of The Galaxy Outfit Locations – Chapter Three
In Chapter 3, after the large slime fight. Follow the path until you reach the location shown above. Take a right once you’re inside the jungle and follow the cave all the way through to the end to find this Outfit.
Towards the end of the mission, just before you reach the fortress. There’s a boss fight with two lizard enemies. Defeat them and then Groot needs to make a bridge for you to progress. Once you get to the other side, don’t take the path with the falling water, take a left and follow that path to get this outfit.
Guardians Of The Galaxy Outfit Locations – Chapter Four
This one is if you sold Groot to Lady Hellbender. Once you’re inside her throne room, remain on the upper level and walk around to the other side. The outfit is there.
If you had Rocket interfere with the Lady Hellbender transaction. An outfit for Drax can be found right after you meet with the queen and have to escape. Keep going along the metal platforms until you get here.
You will have to jump and then dash in the air to make the gap.
If you went with Rocket as the monster to sell. During chapter four you will eventually run into a room where you need to bust the floor to escape. This will lead you to a sewer with some black water. Go through that until you have to make a left or right and go left.
If you choose to sell Groot. After you reach the Throne Room and solve the power puzzle. Take the elevator down and you will reach an area with more drunk guards. Jump the table and take the route shown above to find this outfit.
Guardians Of The Galaxy Outfit Locations – Chapter Five
After you’re attacked by the glowing Nova Corps soldiers. After the second fight you reach this room. Before climbing up, search the back of the room for this outfit.
Guardians Of The Galaxy Outfit Locations – Chapter Six
You can find this one in while exploring the city. Keep going until you can spend 500 on a slot machine (it breaks if you try it by the way), and go up the stairs to see some kids pretend shooting each other.
Jump over the railing near there and don’t interact with the kids. They steal 1000 units off of you and run off before you even know what happened. Follow the pipes to the oufit.
Guardians Of The Galaxy Outfit Locations – Chapter Seven
During the electricity puzzle. The second room with a junction you have to shoot. When you shoot the junction, it opens the door to a room. Outfit is inside.
When you’re back on the ship following the path you took with the girl before. When you reach the area near the end of the walkways, there’s a flooded room. Disable the electricity and destroy the pipes with Gamora to get the outfit.
Guardians Of The Galaxy Outfit Locations – Chapter Eight
After you escape the main chamber you run away from a droid. You drop down into what Rocket thinks is Warp Core Plasma but it turns out fine. Follow the path a short distance forward. There’s a large pillar here Drax can lift. Have him place it in front of the door you entered through and then climb above to get this outfit.
Quite far into Chapter 8 you steal a skiff and pilot it across a sea of chanting enemies. At the end of the sequence, when you’ve landed the final skiff you land in a large round room with a hole in the center. Go around to the other side and you’ll find the outfit.
Guardians Of The Galaxy Outfit Locations – Chapter Ten
When you make it to the cave, keep following it until you get to a large waterfall. Rocket will complain about there being more water before you cross. Look behind the waterfall to find a cave with the outfit in it.
After beating the first set of enemies in the caves, the group of two monsters on two legs, you can find a hole to send Rocket through. This is just before you push the giant ice blocking your path. Rocket will go behind one of the faces and blow up the wall. You have to use your ice shot to clear the poison in the area and climb higher using Groot. At the first peak you get some crafting materials but if you go higher you will find this outfit.
When you reach the part of the cave where the floor collapses and the screen goes pitch black. Groot acts as a torch with his bioluminescent. On the right side of the cavern is some stalagmites. Follow that wall a short distance and there’s a small gap Star Lord can squeeze between. Behind there is the outfit.
Guardians Of The Galaxy Outfit Locations – Chapter Eleven
As you’re working your way through Knowhere you will reach this location. To the left, behind Groot, there is a panel on the wall you can destroy with the wind power on Star Lord’s gun. Destroy the wall, have Groot make a bridge, the outfit is at the end.
Following through Knowhere you will eventually reach this spot. There’s a billboard Star Lord has to smash and then Groot can make a bridge. Before crossing, turn directly behind you. There’s a small crawlspace that Star Lord can get through to get this costume.
Follow the story until you reach this segment. It’s just after a large fight where Rocket talks about grey lung throughout. Before you pass over to the other side, turn to the right and there’s a wall Gremora can grab. Launch up to the platform to get this outfit.
Guardians Of The Galaxy Outfit Locations – Chapter Twelve
After the first fight on the ice planet. You will need to cut some icicles with Gamora to progress but before doing that, you can look up to the right and use Gamora to reach a platform with an outfit.
After you encounter the destroyed camp and meet the last survivor. You slide down a huge ice slide to the bottom. Once you reach the bottom, climb the ledges to the left, with the poison plants, to get this outfit.
Guardians Of The Galaxy Outfit Locations – Chapter Fourteen
When you reach the large shaft with the huge fan at the end that blows you all away. Halfway up the shaft there are ledges to the left and right. Climb the left ledge and you’ll see this outfit on the other side.
Once you’re on the hull of the ship you do a lot of fighting. Then you go back into the interior, then back onto the hull again. When you reach the point shown above, don’t go directly ahead, turn right and you will find this outfit.
Shortly after Drax’s costume, you will see a cut-scene of a ship that drops a lot of troops. Immediately after that battle, you bust through another door. You find this outfit on the other side of the door, behind a crate.
