Right near the start of the game the Pandorans will begin invading territories around the Earth. The mist begins to cover the coasts, bringing more dangerous and more powerful Pandorans with it. You will have an objective at the beginning of your journey to clear out a Pandoran Lair, challenging but incredibly rewarding.

How To Capture Enemies In Phoenix Point

Lairs are rough. They feature a variety of tough enemies, Mind Control, eggs, the works. They are easier to handle with a full squad of 8 so either get a ship that carries 8 units, or bring two ships carrying 8+ soldiers total to bring in a full squadron. Once you clear out the lair, a number of new technologies are available.

Once the Lair is complete, research the following technologies that become available after destroying a Lair. Note: It may be possible to get the capture research with only a few of these but this is the path we chose and unlocked the tech.

  • Research Pandoran Colonies
  • Research Pandoran Evolution
  • Research Worm Egg

Once you’ve taken out a Lair and researched those technologies, a new technology will open. Research Pandoran Capture & Containment to unlock the ability to capture enemy units on the battlefield.
