Throughout your adventures in Pokemon Scarlet & Pokemon Violet you will come across many obstacles that you cannot yet overcome. Ledges that are too high, open oceans blocking your travels, but with each problem, comes a solution. Much like learning to swim or glide, you can also learn to traverse great cliff faces and rocks as Koraidon/Miraidon can learn to climb nearly any surface.
How To Climb In Pokemon Scarlet & Pokemon Violet
Koraidon’s/Miraidon new traversal abilities are all tied to progression in a particular part of the game, specifically the Path of Legends. This is where you help Arven hunt down Titans so you can find some mythical herbs. Each time you take down a Titan, Koraidon’s/Miraidon abilities return, piece by piece.
Unlocking the ability to climb is no different. You need to defeat 4 Titans. It doesn’t matter which 4 and it doesn’t matter which order, you just need to get to 4/5 on the Path of Legends quest line. Once you’ve done that, whoever you defeat for your 4th Titan, will unlock Koraidon’s/Miraidon climbing ability.
