How To Complete Big Friendly Friend In Xenoblade Chronicles 3

The Big Friendly Friend quest requires you to find a bunch of different items. This guide on How To Complete Big Friendly Friend In Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will tell you where you can find the two best items to have this quest done quickly and easily, well, as quickly as possible.

This is one of many “fetch” type quests where an NPC asks you to bring a collection of materials to make a specific item. Different sets that you deliver complete different amounts of the quest. For example, returning a collection of items that are all basic will likely give you 10% toward completing the quest. However, return a set with rarer items and you can get increases of up to 40%, making it much quicker to complete if you know where to find the item.

Splendorshell's
You want to deliver the Splendor Stinger, which requires Splendorshell’s and Stinger Piles. You can find Splendershell’s at the location shown above. Look for the loot on the floor with the shell icon. It’s very rare but each shell you pick up off the floor has a chance of being a Splendorshell. Search the area for all the shells, fast travel back to town, then return and repeat until you have 6 Splendorshell’s.

Stinger Pile's
The other item, Stinger Pile’s are much easier to find, but you need a lot more. For Stinger Pile’s simply explore the area directly outside Colony 30. Explore the area out the front and down to the left. Look for items on the floor with the cog icon. There’s a good chance these will be Stinger Pile’s.

Get 21 Stinger Pile’s and 6 Splendorshell’s and then you can turn in the quest to get over 100% and complete it.
