Reduced Buoyancy and Strong Winds is a tough combination. This guide will tell you How To Complete Kapp’n Level In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate so you can defeat Kapp’n with ease, and unlock the ability to pilot a boat so you can navigate across the lake to the South of the map.

The Kapp’n level in Adventure Mode is a challenging scenario because it combines a challenging Rule and a tough Hazard. The Rule, Buoyancy Reduce, removes your ability to swim. In a level made almost entirely of water, that’s not a good thing. The other element, the Hazard Heavy Wind, causes heavy gusts of wind that blow your character around. Combine these two and your characters is pushed into water and drowns incredibly fast. However, you can beat this level easily in one of two ways.

Just to the North West of this challenge, past the boulder that needs a bomb to blow it up, there’s a Spirit Battle. If you win this Spirit Battle, it’s an easy one, you unlock the Spirit Snorlax. Snorlax has a special ability called Strong-Wind Resist. This removes the Strong Wind element of the Iggy battle almost completely.

If you are unable to find a Snorlax Spirit, there is also an ability on the Ability tree, to the lower left, that lets you have a trait to remove Strong Winds. This costs 50 to unlock, so it’s quite expensive. If you are still struggling, there is another Spirit you can unlock.

You need to reach Plessie. Her passive ability allows you to stay in water indefinitely. You can find Plessie just North West of the Kapp’N fight. Past the treasure chest, there’s a small wooden bridge. With Plessie and Snorlax, you won’t have a problem.
