How To Evolve Sneazel In Pokemon Sword & Shield
Want to evolve Sneasel into Weavile? This guide explains How To Evolve Sneasel In Pokemon Sword & Shield as it’s quite a complicated process requiring a very specific item and a very specific time of day, one of which is very difficult to obtain.

The evolution of Sneasel to Weavile is a bit of a misleading one. You can find Sneasel very commonly in many parts of Pokemon Sword and Shield, and can even capture him in the earlier hours of the game. As such, you may find yourself with a very high level Sneasel, but why won’t it evolve?

[line style=’solid’ top=’10’ bottom=’10’ width=’100%’ height=’1′ color=’blue’] You must meet a number of conditions for Sneasel to evolve into Weavile. Firstly it must be a high enough level, which is easy enough. Then, when it levels, it must be night time, again, easy enough. However, the final stage is where the problems come into play.

Sneasel needs to be holding a Razor Claw. A Razor Claw is a special item that can be purchased from the Battle Points Store. Unfortunately, you cannot earn Battle Points until you have completed the entire game. That includes all gym leaders and the final battle against the Champion. Only then can you enter Battle Tower and earn BP to buy yourself a Razor Claw.

If we stumble across one in the game, we’ll be sure to let you know.
