How To Form A Kingdom In Mount & Blade II Bannerlord

It’s a long process. You must first locate the 10 Nobles as part of the main story quest. Once you have found the Nobles you will be given a few tasks to find the location of each piece of the Dragon Banner. This involves some basic quests where you hunt down some enemy strongholds, killing bandits and the like along the way. Once you have all 3 pieces of the Dragon Banner, you have a decision to make. Whether you decide to side with Istiana or Arzagos, the path to forming your own Kingdom is the same.

Once the Dragon Banner is created you will receive another quest that requires you to get 100 Soldiers, a level 3 clan, and your own settlement. Recruiting the 100 troops is easy. Go from village to village, check Taverns in cities for special units or take on Hideouts with just 8 soldiers in your party and capture the enemy as troops at the end. A level 3 Clan is easy enough, just long. You must reach level 3, you do this by getting Renown. More Renown is received from large-scale battles against multiple enemy generals.

The objectives are both nearly identical regardless of the side chosen. Once you have completed this final part of the story quest, your Kingdom will officially be founded. This opens up a huge part of the game where you can work on diplomacy with other factions, raising your influence to pass policies, there’s a lot involved.

Special units can really help you recruit more troops. In this guide on How To Recruit Special Units In Mount & Blade II Bannerlord we explain a great but rarely used mechanic that lets you recruit more troops than just the towns and villages have to offer, including exclusive and special units.
You will go to war at some point, it is inevitable. This guide explains How To Make Peace In Mount & Blade II Bannerlord as the user-interface doesn't seem to support the ability to declare war or sign a peace agreement during this period of Early Access.
This quest is a mess. This Mount & Blade II Bannerlord Conspiracy Quest Guide will walk you through the little information we have on this quest, Istiana's Plan, that sees the disgruntled soldier attempt to overthrow your thrown through conspiracy.
These two are vital for the Dragon Banner quest to get your own Kingdom. In this guide we explain Where To Find Istiana & Azragor In Mount & Blade II Bannerlord as some players seem to be struggling, running around town for hours trying to find their location.
