How To Get A Fishing Rod In Far Cry New Dawn

If you want to partake in a spot of relaxing fishing, you first need to unlock the Fishing Rod. Before you are able to do this, you require Perk Points. These are easily obtained through completing Challenges and in-game objectives. Once you’ve got yourself a few Perk Points, head to the main menu.

On the main menu you need to select the “Perks” tab. This is the skills system of Far Cry New Dawn. Near the top you will notice a fishing rod symbol. If you spend Perk Points to unlock this Perk, you will have a permanent Fishing Rod added to your inventory.

From there, it’s a simple matter of finding a body of water and using your Fishing Rod to cast and catch fish.
