How To Get Armor Spheres In Monster Hunter Rise

How To Get Armor Spheres In Monster Hunter Rise
Armor Spheres are vital for upgrading your armor, so knowing where they are is important. This guide on How To Get Armor Spheres In Monster Hunter Rise will tell you the quickest way of farming Armor Spheres we’ve found in MH Rise so far.

Armor is incredibly important in Monster Hunter games but it’s all too easy to forget about it. Once you’ve built a set you like, you can easily get carried away, ranking up your Hunter Rank and forgetting to keep your gear up to scratch. It helps mitigate a lot of damage, so if you find yourself falling too quickly to the enemies you encounter, it’s long past due that you upgrade your gear. Nearly all armor upgrades in Monster Hunter Rise require a special resource, Armor Spheres.

Armor Spheres In Monster Hunter Rise
The early upgrades for armor are very cheap, merely taking 1-2 Armor Spheres per level. However, it does not take long before you will need to spend 5-10 Armor Spheres per level. As such, you will often find yourself running low or completely out of stock. We’re still very early in our journey through the game so we’re still looking for other locations but so far we’ve found one single way of obtaining Armor Spheres, Optional Quests.

Everytime you go on a hunt, always make sure you have 5 active Optional Quests, always, no exception. While some of them may be a pain, they are all worthwhile as they provide the only regular source of Armor Spheres we’ve found so far. Just make sure that the Optional Quests you are taking are quick, easy, and have Armor Spheres as the reward.

  • Armor Spheres are used to upgrade armor to higher levels
  • Increasing your armor levels increases the defensive stat, resulting in less damage taken
  • Armor Spheres are spent at the Blacksmith in the village
  • Armor Spheres can be farmed from Optional Quests

We are continuing to look for other methods to farm Armor Spheres in MH Rise, we’ll update the guide once we do.

You need Monster Broth for the Thick, Gooey Dango quest in MH Rise. This guide on Where To Find Monster Broth In Monster Hunter Rise will tell you how to track down the illusive bug that drops this rare material as although the bug can be tracked down easily, the drop is not a guarantee.
The Egg-cellent Idea quest requires a delivery of 2x Gargwa Eggs. This guide on Where To Find The Gargwa Eggs In Monster Hunter Rise will tell you where you must go to be able to farm Gargwa Eggs so you can get two of them, run them all the way back to camp, and deliver them to complete the quest.
Delivering a Rhenopolos Egg is the objective for the Bunny Dango-with Eggs! quest in MH Rise. This guide on Where To Find The Rhenoplos Egg In Monster Hunter Rise will tell you exactly where to go to track down the egg so you can safely deliver it and complete the quest.
Flying Billboards is another photography quest in MH Rise. This guide on Where To Find Cohoot For Photograph In Monster Hunter Rise will tell you how to track down a Cohoot, one that's in a very accessible and very easy to discover location, yet took me hours to find.
