How To Get Back To The Starter Area In Elden Ring
In order to get back to the starter area you need to go to this spot on the lake map.
Ride up to the top and there is a chest at the large pillar. This is a key to open one of the gates. Go down to the next pillar and use the key there. Take that gate and you will be warped back to the starter area. You will have to kill the boss if you want to get back to the other side. The door that was locked will be opened if you can make it.
If you can beat that boss it will drop a sword and a shield as well. There is no shrine here that I could find, so if you want to come back you need to do it the long way. I can’t see why you would want to come back, but that is the only way.
