Where To Find Hard Wood In Animal Crossing New Horizons
In order to get Hard Wood in Animal Crossing New Horizons, you will first need to get your first axe. We have a guide on how to get the axe here. When you have your axe, go swing on some trees around your island. This will drop Hard Wood, Soft Wood and normal Wood. This axe cannot cut down a tree fully, so don’t worry about taking down your Fruit Trees with it.
When you have the Hard Wood, you can then use it to craft a bunch of new furniture and use it as part of your DIY Bench for your home. A tree can only give out so much wood per day, so be careful how much you use up or you will be waiting awhile before you can get some more. In the beginning of the game I wouldn’t advise selling any of your wood either, you never know when a new recipe will pop up that requires more wood. Also it isn’t that valuable, you can get much more money fishing and bug catching anyways. Of course you can always change your clock to get the wood to respawn as well.
