Alongside getting Koins and Soul Fragments, Hearts are a hard currency to get fast in Mortal Kombat 11. This guide will tell you How To Get Hearts In Mortal Kombat 11 as you need to execute specific abilities in battle in order for Hearts to be included as a Performance Reward.
As with Koins and Soul Fragments, obtaining Hearts is not fast. There are three main methods of obtaining Hearts, none of which are quick. When you are exploring the Krypt, after you have unlocked Scorpions Spear, you can spear down bodies from certain locations for a small number of Hearts. They are also often rewarded from chests but the best method, which is still slow, is performance rewards.
How To Get Hearts Fragments In Mortal Kombat 11Performance Rewards are a tally of your accomplishments in a fight. The better you perform, the better your performance rewards. The best way to get Hearts on a regular basis is to kill your opponents using Fatalities. These are special abilities that you can use at the end of a fight if you win.
Some fatality attacks are incredibly simple, some are more challenging but you can practice. It’s best to use a character whose fatality you can perform without fail. Personally, I used Baraka because his fatality is fast and it’s easy to do. You also get a small amount of Hearts when you finish all the objectives in the Time Towers.
If you have Brutalities on your character, you can also use those. These seem to reward double that of a Fatality, two hearts instead of one. Brutalities are slightly different as they have to be done in the fight, not post-fight like Fatalities. For example, Baraka’s Brutality requires you finish the fight with an uppercut. Relatively easy against AI opponents. Simple use the last killing blow as an uppercut and you will get the Brutality bonus.
There are also special augments to boost your rewards but we’ve yet to find one for Heart Fragments. We’ll update with more information as we find it.
