How To Get Leather In Fallout 76
Early on, the best way to get leather is by taking down Brahmin. They can be found in the early town of Flatwoods. We found a set of three of them down by the river, here on the map.
It might seem mean to take them out, but they always drop a hide which will net you 4 pieces of leather. They run and don’t fight back and you can kill them easily. We left on a mission and came back about 12 hours later in game time and they were back. The biggest problem is that other players might take them out before you. Just listen for the mooooo when you are in town, you know they around then.
